How long does a vein procedure take?
Each vein treated takes about 1 hour here in our office.
Will my insurance cover the procedure?
if your insurance approves the procedure, then insurance will allow for the claim to process, deductible may apply. Please call our office for more info.
How soon will I feel relief once I have a procedure done?
For some patients, the relief can be immediate, for others, it may be days or a couple of weeks before they notice relief.
What is the down time after a procedure?
There is no down time, just no stretching of the legs or heavy exercising for about a week. Walking is encouraged.
Does the procedure hurt?
There is mild discomfort during the procedure
Can I go to work after?
Patients are able to return to work as soon as they are done with their procedure, walking periodically is encouraged.
Is the procedure permanent? Will I have to do this again in the future?
There is a 99% success rate with RFA, it’s very rare that a patient will have to get this procedure done again
